Catherwood, Nettie Glegaria

Tribute
Nettie passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 90. Nettie was born in Sturgis, Sask. and grew up in Moose Jaw, Sask. She then moved to Calgary where she met her husband Doug. Once married, Nettie and Doug moved to British Columbia and eventually resided in the big house in Hatzic.
Nettie was predeceased by her oldest son Doug Jr. and her husband Doug. She is survived by her sons Ernie (Yvonne), Pat (Lucie), Mike (Debbie), and Kelly, grandchildren Paula, Karen, Rhonda, Erin, Amy, Jesse, Philippe, Ryan, and Carla, and great-grandchildren Makayla, Brenden, Lacy, Nicolas, and Allison.
Nettie made it her job in life to take care of everyone she loved, whether it was her family, her foster children, her wide circle of friends, or the house. Nettie’s many friends prove how successful she was at her job.
There will be a celebration of Nettie’s life on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 1pm at the Hatzic Cemetery located at 34863 Cemetery Ave., Mission, BC. After the burial there will be a service held in the Bakerview Celebration Centre on site.
