Margaret Rose Forbes of Surrey, B.C. passed away peacefully at Laurel Place Hospice Residence in Surrey B.C. on December 28, 2017 at the age of 77.

Marg (Mugs) was born at Matsqui B.C. on March 9, 1940 to Jacob and Anne Reimer. Marg’s fondest memories were from the time she lived in the Merritt and Princeton area as a young teenager. She spoke of wanting to return there one day but in the meantime enjoyed going there on short road trips. In the early 1960’s Marg married and moved to the coast where she raised her two children. She had many hobbies and made friends wherever she went. Marg’s quick wit and ability to make people laugh was a true gift that she shared with many. There has never been a stronger more capable woman and she is truly admired and loved for all she has given to so many.

Left to grieve are Marg’s brother Harvey Reimer (Dorothy) of Edmonton, AB, son, William (Bill) Forbes of Surrey, B.C., daughter, Valerie and son-in-law Rick Bissonette of Campbell River, B.C. and Marg’s pride and joy granddaughter, Anna Bissonette and grandson, Jayden Forbes, Cousin, Mary Gowen along with many relatives and friends.

The family is greatly appreciative of the support and friendship of all those that lived in her apartment block, the nurses and doctors at Peach Arch Hospital, Surrey Memorial Hospital and Laurel Place Hospice.Your kindness and care were so appreciated.

Cremation has taken place, and Marg will be returning to the Princeton area that she loved so much.
