Tribute
Passed away peacefully in Mission on July 29 at the age of 95. Predeceased by brother, Ronald, and sister, Joan. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Jean; son Robert (Karen) and daughter Carol (David); grandchildren, Christopher, Brian, James and Zoe. Jack spent all of his 95 years on Dale Road, Hatzic Prairie farming the land and developing an excellent herd of Jersey cows with a border collie always at his side. He was a long time member of the Fraser Valley Milk Producers Association. With his intelligent and curious nature his farm and family thrived. Always interested in the world around him, he read the paper everyday and studied the weather forecast carefully. Later in life he enjoyed the opportunity to travel. A memorial service is planned for the near future.

Our condolences from our family to yours. I have known Jack for many years. I remember him as a very pleasant, interesting and hard working man when I grew up in Hatzic Prairie My sister Anna & husband Len rented the Dale house near the school for a few years. R.I.P. Jack.
