Tribute

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of James “Jimmy” Ryan at Royal Columbian Hospital after an amazing courageous battle to the end from liver disease. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Jimmy followed his father’s footsteps in the mining industry. Jimmy traveled to Canada to the US to work in many different mines. Jimmy settled in Franklin, Louisianna for 27years of his life. Moving back to Canada in 2005 with the encouragement of his now wife Jacqueline to finally settle in Chilliwack. Jimmy had a heart of gold and lived his life to the fullest as much as he could with no complaints. He was loved by all of those who had the privelige of being a part of his life. He will forever  be remenered and missed each and every day by his wife Jacqueline; stepson Curtis (Anita); grandchildren; sisters Maureen and Sheila; nephews Ryan and Sean; niece Shelly Ryan; and great niece Kaylee Ryan; and all of his friends who shared his life. Jimmy is reunited with his parents Pearl and Austine; brother John (you meet again) and uncle Willie. Now theres a party in paradise. Thank you to all the amazing staff at Royal Columbian Hospital. A Celebration of Jimmy’s life will be at his home in Chilliwack 46191 Princess Ave. After 1:00  pm on May 6, 2017. Food and BYOB . Donations would be appreciated to the Liver Foundation in Jimmy’s name.

Jacqui…. there are no words to really express the depth of your loss. Jimmy was a kind and happy soul. He was thoughtfully quiet, wise for his years and I know the love you shared was immense! I’ll always remember the smile he had on his face when you came home from Costa Rica, proud as a peacock with his wedding ring and you by his side. He was a gentleman and I always knew you would be cared for, loved, cherished and looked after as a husband should. Our deepest condolences to you – you are in my thoughts and prayers. “Born Free” XOX
