Sadden to hear of Jim’s death. Our thoughts are with Edna and her family at this time. Thinking of you.

From: Tony Hicks
Relation: Fellow archer & friend

Jim was a kind, gentle man who never had a bad word leave his lips. Whenever I saw that Jim was at an archery tournament, I would always smile because it was just great to be around him. The archers in his category would always realize that they had slim chances at the 1st place ribbon when Jim is shooting.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

“Shoot straight in Heaven my friend, bless you”.

My condolences to Edna & family,

Tony Hicks

Jim, we will all miss you so much. Every archery shoot, you were the first person we looked for to shoot with. You amazing nature and quiet strength will be sorely missed.

Jim and I worked for many years at Nelson Machinery.

Edna , so many good thoughts come to the forefront . Jim taking over Romas puppy , we archers whining over a close call and Jim would simply say “I`m giving you a five” and that was that . I was fortunate enough to compete with Jim up to the National level and his quiet sense of humour made each event a friends affair. Indeed I was forunate to have such friend and will miss Him.

James you took me on my first 3-D archery shoot, after 7 targets I was out of arrows. I will miss you every time I pick up by bow. Many times we have shot together I will miss your words of encouragement and your joy at my errors.
