Tribute

It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce in the early hours of July 20, 2016 Ivor succumbed to complex medical conditions, which he fought with courage, dignity and grace, surrounded by the love of family. Formerly a resident of Aldergrove and Maple Ridge by way of South Langley, Richmond/Sea Island and the family farm near Turtleford Saskatchewan. Ivor was predeceased by his father Richard (1958) and mother Lucy (2007). Ivor will be forever remembered and loved by his children, who were his pride and joy, Ricky (Lisa), Nicole (Al), Jennifer, Lesley, grandchildren Austin, Lynden (their mother Debbie), Ethan and Brady, brothers Bob (Laurie), Richard, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended Reddicopp family and dear friends.  Ivor loved to fish, especially his favorite place on the river. He did not let his disability from a work related accident in 1974 prevent him from enjoying his life’s passions.

Ivor raised his children Ricky and Nicole on his own from when they were a young age ensuring their lives were full of love, opportunity and cherished memories. The family wishes to thank Ivor’s many healthcare providers including Dr. S. Gill (Aldergrove) and staff at Abbotsford and Mission hospitals, for their kindness and care.  Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Ivor’s life on Saturday August 27, 2016 at 1pm at 26425 124th Ave Maple Ridge, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Ivor’s name to a charity of your choice are greatly appreciated.  Dad, Grandpa you are deeply loved and forever in our hearts. We will all remember your great stories and continue to share them for you for all of our many years to come.
