I have very fond memories of your mom, from the songs she sang for me at Carrington House to the wonderful stories she told through the years I visited her. I loved her evangelistic approach to all she met, her love of the Lord was truly evident which is an awesome legacy to her family, she left a blessed inheritance .

My mother was Pauline Heppner Schultz, a sister to Hulda’s mother. I don’t remember if I ever met Hulda, but I knew some of the others in the family. I just recently renewed my acquaintance with her sister Annie. My condolences to the family. We’ll all get to know each other again in heaven.

Robert and I wish to offer our heartfelt condolences to all of the family. I first met Sharon in 1968 when dating Robert and over the years met Esther, Joy, Paul and Faith. I would see your Mom while visiting Helen Strohmaier, another friend at Carrington House. It was always such a joy to see your Mom and her beautiful smile and hear her kind words. All of you are in our thoughts at this time.
Lovingly, Sheila and Robert Demers and our Family

I am the daughter of Ruth Renwick and my grandmother was Annie Dorksen and great-grandmother was Evea Goertz. To all the family praying Gods comfort. What a blessing she was to be around, she encouraged me every time I saw her with words of wisdom and her joyful smile .I was so blessed that she sang at our wedding reception. I not sure what song it was but I think it was a hymn. I recall Derek saying that was so nice with a deep look of pleasure on his face! I told her later what he said and the and she sad, ” Wow, wow, wow he liked it.” I thought of her response often and it made grin from ear to ear. An honor to have known her. Love and hugs.

Our sincere condolences to all the family and friends of Aunt Hulda. Though we live in Ontario and never had the pleasure of meeting her, it is obvious from the other messages that she was a wonderful woman and had a rich and happy life. We will remember Hulda and her family in our prayers.
We would be grateful to hear from any of our Koop relatives in Alberta or B.C. and are interested in learning more about the extended Koop family. Please email brianormaryann@gmail.com.
