Tribute

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father and friend, Tim Sewell.

He is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Patricia (Van Alstyne), and younger “buddy brother”, Brent.

Tim is survived by his loving family: eldest daughter Genessa and her children Tanner and Lyriq; daughter Shauna (Brent); siblings Greg, Jordan, Janet, Dan and Ryan and their families; long-time love and mother of his children, Randis; stepsons Jesse and Jamey; close friend Anne; and many dear relatives and long-time friends.

The second of seven children, Dad had always lived to set himself apart. He had an eclectic and creative career being (at times) a fourth generation railroader, ski instructor, restaurateur, author, artist, horticulturist, entrepreneur, and business owner – but his greatest joy was being a father and grandfather. He will be missed dearly, thought of often, and loved always and forever.

A celebration of life will be held at 7790 King George Boulevard (the Crispen Bays Clubhouse, entrance at 78th Ave & King George Blvd.) in Surrey, BC, on May 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation or the BC Cancer Foundation.
