Poirier, Michael Edward Adrian “Mike” July 1, 1956 – June 7, 2015 Passed away after a brave battle with cancer, left to join his mom and brother in a place where he is no longer suffering! He passed on at Mission Hospice with his family by his side. He leaves behind his four amazing children; Tammy (Richard), Amanda (Aaron), Brandon and Brittany (Trevor); grandchildren Nathan, Adriana, Dylan, Julia, Carter and number six on the way. Mike said a baby boy! Survived by his former wife and forever friend Donna and his little French sweetie France. He is also survived by his dad Edward, brother Vic (Lou) and sister Rose, sister-in-law Linda and several nieces and nephews. In his early years Mike loved working with horses. He then spent 35 yrs with the City of Burnaby. He loved life, loved his family, friends and good food. We know as a family the tears will eventually be replaced by smiles. He will be greatly missed!
