Nieken, John William passed away peacefully on October 4, 2015 at the age of 58 years. John is predeceased by his parents Jack & Willemina Nieken. John is survived by his family, son Travis; daughter Sasha; brothers Norman (Georgia), and Jack (Bianca); nieces, nephews; coworkers and friends. John loved anything on wheels, fast cars, motorcycles, and drove a truck for a living. He loved playing baseball, sunshine, lakes and swimming. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Bakerview Celebration Center 34863 Cemetery Ave. Mission, BC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John’s memory to Crossroads Hospice 101 Noonscreek Dr. Port Moody, BC V3H 5J1

Losing a brother and loved-one is never easy. While John may have left us early I am certain that fond memories will remain.

Although we did not see John often, we enjoyed his friendly demeanor and hearty laugh,when we had our visits with him. May he rest in peace and may all the workmen to whom he faithfully delivered supplies to, remember him kindly. He loved driving truck and wouldn’t have changed that for anything, he said.
