From: Leanne Wall
Relation: she was my grandma

Grandma touched so many lives. She was a woman who truly lived out her faith and brought so much joy to many people. One of my favorite memories was when she sang at Luke’s and my wedding when she was 94. When she got up to sing, with twinkling eyes she stated, “well I’m 94 and nobody can tell me what to do now” She proceeded to sing her song so wonderfully. Grandma Koop knew just how to make people feel loved and welcomed. She embraced me with open arms when I married into the family, and we had some great times visiting together. I will miss her so much as I know that the rest of her family and multitudes of friends will, but knowing that she is in Heaven singing praises to God makes it easier to handle. Thank you Grandma for being such a light…may the light that you shared with many continue to shine on for God.

God Bless You dear Hulda. I loved the fact your faith kept you strong but oh how I loved your sense of humour! When I was the manager at Carrington House, you phoned me to say you we’re moving out. After much discussion on what I could do to change your mind you said you had to go, with that I respected your wishes and wished you well….you then came back with “April Fools” xo
