Tribute
It is with a mixture of sorrow and joy we announce that Poppa is now dancing with Gramma in heaven. Born in Stony Plain Alberta March 29, 1923 – died Jan. 2, 2014 at home in the Emerald at Elim Village. Predeceased in 2004 by Vivian his wife of 60 plus years, parents, 4 sisters & many in-laws. Survived by son Terry (Eva), daughter Judie (Rick Kielan), grandchildren Bryce Hill, Angel (Peter Dumoulin), Clint (Shannon), Dan Kielan (Christine), Serenity (Chris Wiens) and great-grandkids Tyler (Shelby), Amanda & Ashley Dumoulin, Tysen, Isis & Lilly Zucht, Moriah Wiens, Tate Kielan and baby Samuel Wiens due Feb. 2014. Sister Edna Fisher, In-laws John (Bev) Donaldson, Heather (Ken) Posey, Bruce (Chris) Donaldson, Laurel (Robert) Menzies, nieces, nephews and friends. Henry lived his life well & with purpose. Served in WWII, married the love of his life in 1944, retired from UBC in 1986 after a successful career in instrumentation & loved his family and friends. He will be missed. Memorial Service Saturday, January 11, 2014 3:00 pm The Oasis at Elim Village (90 Ave. & 160 St. Surrey). In lieu of flowers donations to Elim Christian Care or Canuck Place would be appreciated. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Emerald at Elim Village you have blessed our lives.
