I read on Brad’s Facebook page that his grandma had passed away. Although I did not know her long, she was a lovely woman who shared my husband’s final month, and who kept us amused with her demands on the nurses. She was so much like my late Aunt Helen, and I enjoyed helping her when I could. I am sure she will live on in her family’s hearts; she will in mine.

Relation: Through her brother, Gerry.
The number of times we saw Genieva at Gerry’s family gatherings she always had a smile and greeted you with warmth and affection. She must have been a wonderful nurse in her day with her gentleness. What a wonderful legacy to have left behind so many children. It is always hard for all of the family, as well as her sibblings to have lost such a special person. She will always be in your hearts.

Dear Fyffe family,
I am so sorry that I was unable to attend Genieva’s funeral service. She was a feisty, funny woman whom I cared for very much. We had many great visits, especially when she was living in the same complex as Mom, and I admired her so much.
I am happy that I was able to visit and have lunch with her at Christmas in her new home. She will be missed! My condolences to all of you.
Much love,
Angie
