Tribute
Edith passed away peacefully at Dr. Stuart Pavilion, Ebenezer Home in Abbotsford on December 13th, in her 92nd year. She was predeceased by Howard, the love of her life. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her daughters, Carole (Terry), Hawirko and Janet (Bill) Pratt; grandchildren Janice (Terry) Polk, Eddie (Greta) Hawirko, Shari Robinson, Shelley (Randy) Turner, Debbie Morden, Paul (Mirella) Morden and Wesley (Ali) Morden; great-grandchildren Michela (Casey) Pulham, Melissa (Dave) Morden, Candice Morden, Holly Robinson, Jesse Morden, Kyle Robinson, Matthew Morden, Alexandra, Hawirko and Mark Morden; and great-great-grandchildren Frankie Morden, Kaitlyn Cassels and Michael Cassels
Edith was as comfortable wearing a carpenter’s apron as a kitchen apron or gardener’s gloves. Over the years, she built 5 houses and later, numerous doll houses. At the same time, she crocheted fancy doilies, tended her vegetable garden, and baked the best apple pies ever. In the past few years, she spent many hours doing crafts with her great-great-granddaughter, Frankie. She was an amazing woman, ahead of her time.
The family is grateful for the loving support and care given to our beloved Mom and Grandma by the staff at Dr. Stuart Pavilion.
A private family celebration of Edith’s life will be held at a later date.

Grandma, I love and miss you so very much. We all do. You were so brave and strong for so long. We thank you for staying as long as you could. I have loved spending the past years with you, and am so glad that you and Frankie got to have such a special relationship. She is okay, and taking great care of your stuffed animals for you. I miss you Grandma, I miss you so much. I hope so much that you are now healthy, happy and with those who love you as much as we do. I love you so much.
