Relation: A dear Aunt
I was one of the fortunate people to have had the honour of calling Alice my Auntie Alice. She had the kindest gentlest heart, anyone that was fortunate enough to have Auntie Alice in their life is truly blessed.
I will miss my Aubtie Alice greatly.
Condolences and hugs to Uncle John, Karen, Kirsten and family.
Love Marj

I met Alice in 2003 when I arrived at Deer Lake as their new minister, which led to a wonderful decade of service. Alice ‘broke me in’ and helped me learn the ins and outs of this fine community. I quickly learned that she had been more than a fine ‘Admin’ person. She had been one of their faithful and caring Ministers. People dropped in to see her and relied on her wise counsel. She was some of the ‘glue’ that held that great church together. After I was nicely settled in, she told me that she had been waiting to retire, but only after the church was in good hands. I have so much respect and love for Alice and was deeply touched by the way she lived her life.
May you know eternal peace in God’s arms Alice.
Rev. Scott Turnbrook.
