Tribute

Tremblay, Alain Jean passed away peacefully on January 26, 2013 at the age of 65 Years.

Survived by his loving wife of 45 years Chantale; children Marc (Carlinne) and Anique; granddaughter Marissa and many other family and friends.

Al worked for the Department of National Defence for 40 years in the communications technology field where he was fondly known as “Froggy”.  The first half of his career was spent in the Royal Canadian Air Force where he retired after 21 years as a Sergeant.  The second half of his career was spent in the Public Service where he was an active Shop Steward.  Al was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 29 years.  Al was a very devoted family man who could be counted on any time of the day or night to lend a helping hand.  Upon his retirement in 2007 he and his wife Chantale moved to Mission to be close to his daughter and to provide daycare to his granddaughter with whom he developed a very special bond.  He was a man who could be called on to fix anything from electronics equipment to appliances to toilets.  Al was a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Urn Interment will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Hatzic Cemetery located at 34867 Cemetery Ave, Mission, BC
